Bold type indicates an instrument new to the Finale 2014 GIFF library. Ranges are stated as they appear in the ARIA Player (MIDI Note 60=C3 instead of the standard C4). The instruments are organized by the category in which they appear in the ARIA Player, not the Finale instrument categories found in the Setup Wizard and ScoreManager. ![]() Pitches notated outside of an instrument’s range will not sound if GIFF is selected as the Playback device. ![]() ![]() The following table lists ranges for each Garritan Instruments for Finale (GIFF) instrument included with Finale. Used in conjunction with music-writing software such as Finale, Garritan software libraries provide sounds so realistic they can be indistinguishable from a live performance. ![]()
